Canada is set to launch a new batch of its Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Program on October 10, 2023. With the growing Indian population in Canada, the demand for inviting parents and grandparents to Canada as Permanent Residents (PR) has surged.
Application Details:
Approximately 24,200 sponsors will be invited to apply.
The Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will accept a maximum of 15,000 applications this year.
Invitations will be issued over a two-week period starting on October 10, 2023.
Random Selection:
Sponsors will be randomly selected from the received applications, streamlining the process.
Eligibility to Sponsor:
To be eligible as sponsors, individuals must have reached a minimum age of 18 years.
Sponsors must be Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, or registered under the Canadian Indian Act.
Proof of sufficient income for the last three years is required to support those being sponsored
