Express Entry Trade category in 2025, adding the highest number of new
occupations to date—now totaling 25. This makes it easier for skilled workers
in trades like carpentry, welding, plumbing, and cooking to receive Invitations
to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency. To qualify, candidates must have at
least 6 months of continuous work experience in a listed trade within the last
3 years. Apprenticeship roles may also count. To check eligibility and find
