ETS has launched TOEFL TestReady, a new AI-driven platform that offers personalized study plans and practice to help students excel in the TOEFL exam.
ETS, the organization behind the Test of English
as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), has unveiled an innovative AI-powered platform,
TOEFL TestReady, designed to revolutionize test preparation. This cutting-edge
tool aims to provide comprehensive practice and personalized study tips to help
students achieve their best scores.
TOEFL TestReady offers both free and paid
options, catering to a wide range of needs. The platform includes scored
activities, customized preparation plans, targeted recommendations, and various
study resources, all designed to enhance skills in reading, listening,
speaking, and writing in English. Users also benefit from detailed feedback on
their test practices, helping them to identify and close individual skill gaps
effectively.
Rohit Sharma, Senior Vice President of Global
Higher Education and Workskills at ETS emphasizes the platform’s uniqueness:
"The platform is uniquely designed to bring all of a test-taker
performance metrics together and offer targeted recommendations and insights
that help them close their individual skill gaps while tracking their
progress." Sharma noted that TOEFL TestReady was developed with direct

Preliminary research shows a strong correlation
between performance on TOEFL TestReady and higher scores on the TOEFL iBT,
indicating the platform’s potential to significantly enhance test preparation.
The TOEFL test is a globally recognized standard
for measuring the English language proficiency of non-native speakers aspiring
to study at English-speaking universities. It is accepted by over 12,000
institutions across more than 160 countries.
For seamless access, users with an existing TOEFL
iBT account or those who have used the ’TOEFL Go!’ app can log into the TOEFL
TestReady portal using their current credentials.
