For those who don’t secure a spot in the PR sponsorship program, there’s an option to obtain a Super Visa.
The Super Visa allows for longer visits to Canada, valid for up to 10 years with multiple entries.
Super Visa holders can stay in Canada for up to 5 years at a time, with the possibility to extend their stay for two years without leaving the country.
Benefits of Super Visa:
Super Visa holders, including parents, grandparents, or minors, can visit their family members for up to five consecutive years without renewing their visitor status.
Existing Super Visa holders can stay in Canada as visitors for up to seven years.
This program provides an opportunity for families to reunite in Canada, offering a path for parents and grandparents to become Permanent Residents, or alternatively, allowing extended visits through the Super Visa. The random selection process aims to make the application process fair and efficient. Keep in mind the eligibility criteria and income requirements to participate in this program.
